Sony drives innovation and leadership with the expansion of its global partner network
Sony welcomes new global strategic alliances to further enhance its display portfolio
SE Barcelona, Spain, 21st January 2025 – Sony’s AV Alliance and Technology Partner Network continues to expand and see rapid adoption with the addition of 23 new members and industry leaders. This continued growth adds to an already existing portfolio of over 60 organisations from across Europe and other parts of the world. Sony’s AV Alliance Partner Network is powered by strategic alliances across the industry, offering compatible software and hardware solutions that deliver enhanced value, compatibility, and creative freedom to its lineup of BRAVIA Professional Displays.
Since 2022, Sony has forged strong alliances with leading organisations across Content Management, Remote Management and Unified Communications to meet the demand for intuitive solutions that can bolster its display offering and deliver simplified integration with lower operational costs. For 2024, new partnerships with organisations including SalesTV, PADS4, Grassfish & Zebrix support retail, corporate, education and healthcare industries to streamline content sharing, reduce manual intervention and elevate signage experiences, allowing Sony to provide a full turnkey solution for customers.
Sony’s System-on-Chip (SoC) technology means that partners can quickly and easily integrate their own software to run any digital signage application on a range of BRAVIA 4K Professional Displays, eliminating the need to purchase an additional external device. In line with Sony’s mission to accelerate its sustainability initiatives, the built-in SoC offers device management capabilities such as brightness reduction, power consumption and remote monitoring that can be adjusted remotely from a CMS partner, coupled with Sony’s existing Making it, Moving it, Using it initiative for its BRAVIA Professional Displays.
"Our expanding partner network is a testament to our dedication to enhancing collaboration, sparking innovation, and offering greater value to our customers. By collaborating with various organisations, we are strategically positioned to enhance our footprint in the professional AV sector and maintain our delivery of state-of-the-art products and solutions. Sony is focused on increasing its presence in the digital signage arena, as evidenced by our growing number of partners in this field, which will remain a key priority for us in the future. With a strong and expanding partnership ecosystem in this market, we are well-equipped to meet the rapidly changing demands of the industry." Comments Thorsten Prsybyl, European Retail Sales Manager, Sony Professional Displays and Solutions.
Rik Willemse, Head of Professional Displays & Solutions Europe comments "Our partner network plays a crucial role not only in providing top-quality solutions to a broader audience but also in our commitment to fostering a more sustainable AV industry. It is essential for us that our partners align with our goals of promoting environmental and social initiatives, as Sony intensifies its efforts in this area, beginning with the materials we select during product development and extending through delivery and packaging. We believe that a cohesive collaboration with organisations throughout the AV sector is vital for encouraging the widespread adoption and prioritisation of sustainability efforts. Together, we will combine our resources, knowledge, and expertise to elevate the significance of environmental responsibility across the industry."
Sony will continue the momentum it has gained over the past three years as it moves forward with its expanded AV technology partner alliance. Its growing partner ecosystem will be displayed on Sony’s booth at ISE 2025 and will demonstrate the enhanced capabilities of its solutions on show, including BRAVIA Professional Displays, Sony Crystal LED, as well as advanced projection displays and new software for hybrid learning environments.
