adobe flash 11 not accepted by vaio laptop of sony

I am a memeber of Youtube. Now I can't see the video's anymore. i like to install the new flashplayer 11 of Adobe. I removed all former one's in my configuration.  Anyway I want to install the new flashplayer 11 of Adobe, a window tells me that I have got already a newer version??? (not possible off course) how to solute this problem
