Video to DVD from the PMB software

Am I doing something wrong as when I try to burn a DVD from videos in the PMB software it will only play on my computer and not on a TV.

I thought it was that I should copy in the standard mode but that needs authorizing and I cannot seem to authorize for some reason. Please help as I must be doing something wrong !!
