Hi,

I'd like to upgrade the graphics on my PCG-281M.

Despite the fact it cost a bloody fortune less than 3 years ago SONY don't appear to offer any support at all on this site, which I'm rather narked about.

Does anyone have any advice on upgrading the machine, or know where I can find some?

Ideally, I'd like to play Battlefield 3 on it, and I need a reasonably high spec one.

Thanks... :-)

    Hi philmetca9,

    welcome to Questions & Answers..

Unfortunately it's not possible to upgrade the graphics chip as it's soldered to the motherboard..

I'm not sure what model you have as you are quoting the chassis number & not the model number..

Depending on what graphics you have you could at your own risk try using a driver from LaptopVideo2Go, use the following link to view the list of drivers: LaptopVideo2Go

You will need to install a modded .inf, click the following for more info on: What is a modded INF?
