I have installed a new SSD drive as the 2nd hard disk, placed in disk bay number 2.

My question is: how can I boot from this 2nd hard disk?

I don't find a ay in the BIO settings to configure ths 2nd hard disk as the boot device.

Any idea?

Thanks for you help

Tough one right there. If it's not listed, it might not be detected by the motherboard in the first place. https://imagicon.info/cat/12-13/1.gif

Hi I have the same system and want to do the same but  with a hard drive.

I wonder if using a bootable cd with

    SuperGRUB2Disk

and then using detect any OS option.

will then allow to boot the ssd drive,

assuming you are able to install an OS on ssd drive beforehand.

    maybe a starting point?
