SONY DSC T300 zoom button not working.

Hello,

 

I have an sony cybershot DSC T 300, the zoom button on the side has become loose so i dont know if it is broken and needs replacing or just needs tighting.

 

So as my zoom button is not working, my camera does not zoom in and out.

 

I really do not want to get a new camera, as i have had this not for that long and also i have to find a good camera which is a misson with all the researching and reading reviews.

 

So if anyone has any solutons please do reply back to my message.

    Hi wizzo88, welcome to the Sony Forums

     

    Most button-related problems can be fixed but it's fair to say the repair costs are sometimes better put towards the cost of a new camera.

     

    The T300 isn't especially prone to button issues, so my guess is this might be due to impact damage, rather than electronic failure. Without seeing it, it's difficult to say. You could ask at an electronics repar centre or camera shop and they might be able to advise you further.
