I brought this Netgear Push2TV HD Adapter to wirelessly display my laptop on my HD TV, I did not want to change my TV because its only 3 years old and cost over 3 grand, My new sony laptop has a core i7 second gen chip and i was told as long as it was built after september 2011 it would work, but my wi-fi direct will not see it ???????????????????

When i checked with the Intel website it says after checking my laptop;

On the Intel website at http://www.intel.com/go/wirelessdieplayupdate it says "This device is unknown or unsupported. Please contact the manufacturer for possible updates. More information”

I thought this would be easy !!!
