Apparently the card that outputs the hdmi feed blew up during the update all fixed under warranty by sony though. however I am on firmware 1.027 still - not sure I want to try updating it though!

I tried to update my av receiver and everything seemed fine until the unit seemed to reset itself - following this i get sound but no picture - when I connect a pc on the network the firmware level says firmware is version 1.027 the update was for version 1.030?

the unit is stuck in gui mode and i can't switch this off to enable pc update and also get no video outpu t from any hdmi channel however sound is fine?

does anyone have any ideas?

HI I wouldn't try it yet - i just tried and following the update I have no video output and the firmware version indicated is 1.027 not 1.030 as expected - I get sound though? also can't switch gui mode off to enable pc update now.

Yes my Bravia is set to update automatically - I have checked the firmware version on the amp also and it is up to date

Hi my leads are up to date and 3d movies on blue ray seem ok. I run them through a Sony 3600es av amp.

I have the Bravia KDL46EX724 and the 3d is regularly cutting out while watching sky3d and also while playing 3d games on ps3 - I have 2 pairs of glasses and both sets cut out - I have to switch them off totally and restart them. There is no obstruction between the IR port and the glasses

Any ideas?
